Author Mariah Frederick discusses the Lindberg Kidnapping and her new book - The Lindberg Nanny. The Lindbergh Nanny tells the story of the most famous kidnapping in American history, from the point of view of the child’s nanny, a young Scotswoman named Betty Gow.  Ms. Frederick will  present slides of the people involved with the case, discuss the events on the night of the kidnapping, as well as how the crime has inspired other works of fiction.  The Lindbergh Nanny has been nominated for the Agatha, Anthony, and Macavity awards. It received excellent reviews in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. It was listed as one of the best Historical Mysteries of 2022 by CrimeReads and one of best mysteries of 2022 by Airmail.  Adults only.  Registration required.
