Lecture by Mallory  Mortillaro

Mallory shares the story of her journey to authenticate a marble bust of Napoleon sculpted by Auguste Rodin, which had been sitting in a the Madison town hall for almost 80 years.  Mallory was hired straight out of college for a part time art cataloging project that culminated in the piece's authentication by the world’s leading Rodin expert. Mallory will discuss Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge, who gifted this artwork, along with the town hall, in the name of her only son.
