Concert by Singer Maggie Worsdale

They don’t make them like Frank Sinatra anymore because they can’t. He came up in the big band era traveling around the country on a bus with world class musicians. Sinatra had talent but he learned to be the best by listening and mimicking those musicians. For five decades he reigned as Chairman of the Board. Everybody felt his impact, whether they knew it or not. Over all the stars and all the superstars there is simply before Frank and after Frank. Jazz Singer, Maggie Worsdale pays tribute to Sinatra with 14 of his most loved songs along with little known stories about his life and career.

When Maggie was beginning her career she worked with Bob Hope and George Burns who were in the wee final years of their careers. Worsdale is the lead singer of the Charleston, SC based jazz band SWEET WHISKEY. Bob Hope said this about Maggie – “There is one word for this gal – WONDERFUL”.

Adults only.  Registration required.
