Talk by Dr. Paul Semendinger

Special "Opening Day Of Baseball " program.  Roy White had an amazing career and fascinating life.  A legendary New York Yankee baseball player, Roy was an icon of his generation.  Learn how he overcame poverty and segregation to join the Major Leagues where he performed as a star Yankee for 15 seasons, followed by a second baseball career playing in Japan.  Adults only.  Registration required.

Dr. Paul Semendinger is a multi-award winning author.  A retired school principal, Paul is known for his motivational and very engaging presentations on a variety of subjects, including, of course, baseball.  Paul runs the Yankees site Start Spreading the News, is a member of the IBWAA, and is the Vice President of the Elysian Fields Chapter of SABR.
