Alisa Dupuy - Ladies of History Reenactor

Join us for an incredible discussion with the world’s first famous feminist, Christine de Pisan, contemporary of Joan and Arc and the first woman to make a living from her writing. Known for her poetry and her feminist prose, Christine will tell us about her life, her work, her admiration for Joan of Arc and her feelings about women’s role in society. Learn about writing on vellum (parchment) in Christine’s day and try your hand! Discover the extravagant fashions of the Burgundian court- horned headdresses and pointy shoes!  Adults only.  Registration required.
